![]() ![]() There are things I do like, but it's hard to feel thankful for any of it when I worry about antivax colleagues getting everyone sick. Directors don't get to direct much, they're just given the bucket of bad news from senior management or HR and told to deal. But thanks for the free bananas! I think a lot of it is due to very top-heavy management structure the higher they go, the more out of touch they are about the employees they oversee. Newsweek named B&H as one of Americas Top Companies for Customer Service for 2019, with top position in the consumer electronics category based on over 130,000. And little happens if anything is reported. A portion of the employee base isn't on board with masking or vaccines, and since some of those same people are in upper management and HR, the policies are not enforced. The "mask policy" is a joke and HR simply exists to shield upper management. Even the people who can, and did, prove how well they do their jobs working from home, were required to come back. Before the pandemic, most of the floors were packed with people, and that hasn't changed after they made us all come back in the summer. Sort of love what I do and have learned a lot about various industries, but I've also learned that this top-heavy company and out-of-touch upper management does not care about a good chunk of their employees. Just some advice for qualified persons look elsewhere! Not worth it! Management gets all the good parking in the front while TM's are forced to park behind the site with the potential of getting run over by a crazy driver while walking to the front of the building. Also, the parking lot situation is beyond ridiculous. Expect anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes after your shift to leave the facility due to there uncomfortable and unnecessary lengthy security screening process. I even overheard the Vice president of the company talking down on people who are in management positions in front of me. Shop the best photography equipment, digital cameras, lenses, pro audio & video, professional gear & musical instruments from top brands - Canon, Nikon. No promotion opportunities either since they do not promote if not within the family. Almost all management are under qualified and family related, which is very clear to me that the people put in those positions are just those related to the CEO. The job cuture is also something that needs to be fixed. ![]() When I began my first week I was eager to train and learn new things however the coworker that was supposed to be training me did not and made it very awkward for me to be there. Joined this company under false promises after a good interview. ![]()
